Unlock Your Educational Future: Complete the FAFSA for College and Trades at studentaid.gov

Dear Centralia School District Seniors and Families,

As we navigate the exciting journey towards higher education, we want to emphasize the importance of completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) not only for college-bound seniors but also for those pursuing careers in the skilled trades.

Here's why completing the FAFSA is essential for both paths:

  1. **Financial Support for College and Trades:** The FAFSA is your passport to various federal grants, loans, and work-study opportunities, regardless of whether you're heading to college or entering a trade school. It opens doors to financial assistance that can make your educational and career aspirations a reality.

  1. **State and Institutional Aid for Trades:** Many states and trade schools also use the FAFSA to assess eligibility for specialized financial aid programs. By completing the FAFSA, you ensure you're considered for all available funding opportunities in the trade industry.

  1. **Deadline Reminder for Both Paths:** FAFSA deadlines are crucial, and submitting your application early maximizes your chances of receiving the financial aid you need. Whether you're pursuing a college degree or embarking on a trade career, early completion of the FAFSA is key.

  1. **Trade School Admission Requirement:** Just like colleges, some trade schools may use FAFSA information to make decisions about institutional aid and scholarships. Completing the FAFSA ensures you're in the running for any available financial assistance.

Whether you're dreaming of a college degree or a rewarding career in the skilled trades, the FAFSA is a vital step toward securing the financial support you deserve. The process is straightforward, and our dedicated staff are ready to assist you.

Take charge of your educational and career future – complete the FAFSA today! Your journey to success starts with the right financial support. Get started at www.studentaid.gov.
